Install an SFP+ Transceiver | 119
Small form-factor pluggable plus transceivers (SFP+) are enhanced SFP transceivers that provide support
for data rates of up to 10 Gbps for fiber-optic or copper interfaces. SFP+ transceivers are hot-insertable
and hot-removable. Removing an SFP+ transceiver does not interrupt router functioning, but the removed
SFP+ transceiver no longer receives or transmits data.
