Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) (if

The Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) is
provided to help prevent exiting the
vehicle with a rear passenger left in
the vehicle.

the "Check rear seats" warning
message appears on the cluster.
You can activate or deactivate Rear

an infotainment system, you can

The Rear Occupant Alert (ROA) does
not actually detect objects or people
in the rear seat. By using a rear door
opening and closing history, the
system informs the driver that
there may be something in the rear
seat.
䳜 The history is reset after the
driver turns off ignition normally
exits the vehicle and locks the
door remotely using the remote
keyless entry. So even if a rear
door does not reopen, Rear Occu
-
pant Alert can occur.
䳜 For example, after the Rear Occu
-
pant Alert if the driver does not
lock thed door, and drives again,
the alert can occur.
