Air cleaner
2. Pull up the air cleaner cover (2)
and open.
3. Rotate the fixed lever on the filter
and loosen the lock.
4. Replace the air cleaner filter.
5. Assemble in reverse order.
Replace the filter according to the
Maintenance Schedule.
If the vehicle is operated in
extremely dusty or sandy areas,
replace the element more often
than the usual recommended inter
-
vals. (Refer to "Maintenance under
severe usage conditions - For Aus
-
tralia and New Zealand" on page 8-
17.)

removed; this will result in exces

sive engine wear.
䳜 When removing the air cleaner fil

ter, be careful that dust or dirt
does not enter the air intake, or
damage may result.

professional workshop. Kia rec

Kia dealer/service partner.
