• Luggageandothercargoshould
belaidflatinthecargoarea.If
objectsarelarge,heavy,ormust
bepiled,theymustbesecured.
Undernocircumstancesshould
cargobepiledhigherthanthe
seatbacks.Failuretofollowthese
warningscouldresultinserious
injuryordeathintheeventofa
suddenstop,collisionorrollover.
• Nopassengershouldrideinthe
cargoareaorsitorlieonfolded
seatbackswhilethevehicleis
moving.Allpassengersmust
beproperlyseatedinseatsand
restrainedproperlywhileriding.
• Whenresettingtheseatbackto
theuprightposition,makesureit
issecurelylatchedbypushingit
forwardandbackwards.
• Toavoidthepossibilityofburns,
donotremovethecarpetinthe
cargoarea.Emissioncontrol
devicesbeneaththisfloor
generatehightemperatures.

Afteradjustingtheseat,always
checkthatitissecurelylockedinto
placebyattemptingtomovethe
seatforwardorbackwardwithout
usingthelockreleaselever.Sudden
