seatedinthefrontseat,he/she
mustbeproperlybeltedandthe
seatshouldbemovedasfarback
aspossible.
• Neverweartheshoulderbelt
underyourarmorbehindyour
back.Animproperlypositioned
shoulderbeltcancauseserious
injuriesinacrash.Theshoulder
beltshouldbepositionedmidway
overyourshoulderacrossyour
collarbone.
• Neverwearaseatbeltover
fragileobjects.Ifthereisasudden
stoporimpact,theseatbeltcan
damageit.
• Avoidwearingtwistedseatbelts.
Atwistedbeltcan’tdoitsjobas
well.Inacollision,itcouldevencut
intoyou.Besurethebeltwebbing

protectionaffordedtothewearer.

polishes,oilsandchemicals,and
particularlybatteryacid.
Cleaningmaysafelybecarriedout
usingmildsoapandwater.The
beltshouldbereplacedifwebbing
becomesfrayed,contaminatedor
damaged.
Itisessentialtoreplacetheentire
assemblyafterithasbeenwornin
asevereimpactevenifdamageto
theassemblyisnotobvious.Belts
