Using the Menu Operation Manual
6.10.2 Factory default
This sub menu is used to initialize the system to a factory default, Factory Default 1, 2, 3 or Default 4.
CAUTION: Record all current settings before implementing the above functions.
To do so:
(1) Select a Factory Default Number (1, 2, 3, or 4) and press the right arrow key. The Factory Default
sub menu (Factory Default 1, 2, 3, 4) appears.
(2) Press the down arrow key to select “Execute”.
(3) Press the left arrow key to fix the selection. The menu display disappears and the system is now
set to the selected Factory Default.
(4) To change the setting, repeat the above procedures from step (1).
6.11 Simulator
Displays simulated sonar echoes for training and exhibition purposes of CVS-842/852/843 series
sounder. To display the simulated echoes, select ON and exit the menu. To turn off the Simulator,
select OFF and exit the menu.
Selections: OFF, ON
Initial setting: OFF
CAUTION: The following functions are not available in Simulator mode: Power On/Off,
STC Draft.
