Music Server Set-up – Getting Started
Your system contains a network music player that does not store any files; instead, it plays files stored on a
network computer. The software in your system communicates with the music server software allowing you
to access and play the music files stored on your computer.
Before you can stream audio from your home computer to your shower, you must first complete the
following:
Verify you have a compatible music server installed on your computer. Refer to the “Compatible
Music Servers” section.
Connect your system to your computer network via WiFi or Ethernet. An Ethernet cable can be
plugged in directly to the media module or a wireless access point must be in range for WiFi
connections.
Establish a network connection. If your network is secured, you will need to enter the WEP or WPA
key. Refer to the “WiFi Security” section.
Enable music sharing (if required by your music server). Refer to the “Enable Music Sharing”
section.
