13. MISSING LINE MEASUREMENT
· Missing line measurement is used to measure the slope distance, horizontal distance, and height difference
to a target from the target which is the reference (point 1) without moving the instrument.
· To find the height difference between 2 points, use a pole to make the target height of all the targets
identical.
13.1 Measuring the Distance Between Multiple Targets
· It is possible to perform Missing Line Measurement by selecting “4. MLM” from the Menu mode.
13.1.1 Measuring the distance between multiple targets

Sight the target of the first target P1, then press
SD in Meas Mode. When the observation has
been completed or during repeat measurement,
press STOP after the measured values are
displayed to restore the “MEAS Mode Screen.”
