E.3.2 SATA Interface
The Smart Extension Module provides one high-performance SATA 3 Gb/s interface with RAID
0/1/5/10 functionality. The SATA interface is implemented as one standard SATA cable connec-
tor, J1, which is used to connect a standard HDD/SSD or another SATA device to the
CP3003-SA via the Smart Extension Module.
Note ...
To ensure secure connectivity, the SATA connector supports the use of SATA
3 Gb/s cables (SATA cables with locking latch).
