The sample vessel containing the
liquid moves down until a
maximum force is registered. The
vessel is moved back upwards; the
value of the maximum force is now
determined exactly.
Relaxing

The liquid is moved upwards again
until the maximum force is reduced
by the percentage value given

Relaxation
.
The steps
Measuring
and
Relaxing
are repeated until all the
measurement has been
completed.
Finished
Displays the final
results:

Standard
deviation (mN/m)
Temperature (°C)

The measurement is complete.
The data found are used to display
the mean value of the surface
tension, the standard deviation
and the temperature.
