12 Data transfer to external media (optional)
There are two ways of transferring data to external media:
• Printout on a protocol printer (Öch. 12.1)
• Transfer to a PC using the KRÜSS LabDesk tensiometer software (Ö ch. 12.2).
12.1 Printing out on a protocol printer
1. Connect the serial “RS-232” interface connection on the rear panel of the K11 to
the printer connection. Connect the printer to the mains supply using the power unit
supplied.

Information about inserting and replaced the roll of paper and the ink ribbon can
be found in the manufacturer’s manual supplied.
2. Select the
Special Functions
menu (*-key) of the K11. Press the key (3) to switch
to
standard output
.
3. Switch on the printer.
4. The LED beside the “SEL” button normally shows whether the printer is in the
transfer mode or not; however, with the K11 data transfer always takes place.
5. Start the measurement. Transfer of the generated measured values takes place
automatically.
