4.6 The keypad
The following functions can be accessed via the keypad:
• Measuring method selection (plate, ring, density measurement)
• Starting and stopping measurements
• Entering measuring parameters
• Changing the basic settings (setup)
• switching illumination on/off
• Switching the stirrer on/off
Key occupancy
Key Functions
Instrument switch-on (only if in standby mode)
Instrument switch-off (if pressed for a longer time)
Ends the current entry; jumps back to the particular main menu point (if
pressed down briefly)
Main function: plate method selection
Secondary function: no. 1 when entering parameters
Main function: ring method selection
Secondary functions: no. 2 when entering parameters
letters A,B,C,2 when entering text
Main function: density determination selection
Secondary functions: no. 3 when entering parameters
letters D,E,F,3 when entering text
