10.2.3 Min. standard deviation
This is where you enter what limit for the absolute Standard Deviation for the
measurement will be regarded as being accurate enough to automatically finish the
measurement. For example, if a value of 0.2 mN/m is entered then a check will be
made whether the standard deviation of previously recorded values is higher than
0.2 mN/m. If this is the case the next measurement will be made. If the value of 0.2
mN/m is not exceeded the accuracy criterion has been complied with and the
measurement will be finished.

10.2.4 Number of values for SD
The number entered for
Number of values for SD
defines how many of the last
measured values are to be used for calculating the standard deviation and the mean
value. If the standard deviation for this number of measured values is below the
entered minimum standard deviation then the measurement is terminated, even if the
maximum number of measured values has not been reached. In contrast, the
measurement is terminated when the maximum number of measured values has been
reached, even if the required standard deviation has not been achieved.
