If a MIDI Channel is disabled, the Program name is shown with parenthesis and the message
“Channel disabled” on the line above.
MIDI Channels are enabled/disabled in Global Mode, see Channel Enable (ChanEn) on
page 9-6.
Panic
Pressing the 7 and 8 Program/Multi buttons (Panic) simultaneously deactivates all sounding
notes and resets controller values by sending an “All Notes O ” message and a “Reset All
Controllers” message on all 16 MIDI channels.
Saving User Programs
If you make changes to the current Program using any of the controllers, the Save buttons
LED lights to indicate that a change has been made to that Program.
To save the changes youve made, press the Save button once. e Save buttons LED begins
to blink, allowing you to set the ID number and rename the Program. e display shows the
rst available ID number and the current Program name.
