andpanmessages.

EntryVolumeenablesyoutocontroltheinitialMIDIvolumesettingforeachzoneofthecurrent
setup.WhenyouselectasetupinSetupmode,MIDIchannelsforzonesthathaveanEntry
VolumevalueotherthanNonewillreceivethatvalueasaMIDIvolumecontrolmessage(MIDI
Controller
07.)Thissetsthestartingvolumelevelforeachzone.SubsequentMIDIvolume
controlsignalssenttothesetup’sMIDIchannelsaffectthevolumenormally.
Whenyouexitthecurrentsetup,eachzonesendsanothervolumecontrolmessage(MIDI
Controller07)tosetthevolumesonthePC3LE’sMIDIchannels,according
tothevalueofthe
ExitVolumeparameter(unlessExitVolumeissettoNone.)

WhenyouselectasetupinSetupmode,MIDIchannelsforzonesthathaveanEntryPanvalue
otherthanNonewillreceivethatvalueasa MIDIpancontrolmessage(MIDIController
10.)
Thissetsthestartingpanpositionforeachzone.SubsequentMIDIpancontrolsignals sentto
thesetup’sMIDIchannelsaffectthepannormally.
Whenyouexitthecurrentsetup,eachzone sendsanotherpancontrolmessage(MIDIController
10)tosetthepanpositionsonthePC3LE’sMIDIchannels,
accordingtothevalueoftheExitPan
parameter(unlessExitPanissettoNone.)
Mostprogramsrespondtopanmessagesonthenextkeystrike.Thismeansthatifyouhold a
noteandchangethepan,thecurrentnotewillstayatitscurrentpositionuntilyoustrike
it
again.However,aPC3LEprogramthatusesthePANNEReffectinaeffectsChainwillrespond
torealtimepanadjustmentsaswell.
