1-5-6 Drum section
(1) Detaching and refitting the drum unit
Procedure
1. Remove the developing unit.
(See page 1-5-25)
2. Open the left side cover and then
remove the waste toner box.
3. Remove the drum stopper.
4. Unlock the drum unit lock and then
remove the drum unit.
5. Check or replace the drum unit and refit
all the removed parts.
NOTE:
When the periodic maintenance
(replacing the maintenance kit, see
page 2-4-4), perform maintenance
mode.:

Procedure
1. Remove the drum unit.
(See page 1-5-26)
2. Unlock the lock lever and then remove
the main charger unit.
3. Check or replace the main charger unit
and refit all the removed parts.
