CAUTION
If the pressure fails to reach the minimum level, remove the delivery system and perform the following on
the vacuum tube:
•
Coverthetubewithyournger.Thevacuumreadingshouldreachatleast600mmHg.Removeyour
nger.Thevacuumreadingshoulddroptozeroorclosetozero.Itindicatesthevacuumpumpworks
normally.
•
If the vacuum reading fails to reach 600 mmHg or fails to drop to close to zero, you should contact the
manufacturer of the vacuum pump for customer support.
 NOTE
AccessoriesarenotstandardcomponentsprovidedaspartofthepHCapsuleSystem,buttheyare
necessary for system operation.
Product Features

The pH capsule is disposable, free from cross-infection.
•
The pH Capsule System requires no indwelling catheter during the monitoring period, so it doesn’t affect the
patient’s appearance and should cause no discomfort.
•
The pH Capsule System allows the patient to maintain a regular diet during the monitoring period. The result
canthusbetterreecttheactualsymptomsofthepatient.
Repairs
Laborie’swarrantyshallnotapplywherethereisunauthorizedorimproperuse,modication,maintenance,orrepair
of the alpHaONE system. The alpHaONE system may be opened for adjustment, replacement, maintenance or
repairbyLaborie-qualiedpersonnelonly.ReturnscanonlybemadeusingLaborie’sreturnprocedures;customers
should consult their local Laborie representative for further return procedure information. Before sending equipment
for repair, please contact your Laborie representative. Note that all equipment needs to be properly cleaned before
packagingandshipment.
