6 Maintenance
Introduction
This chapter presents information for preventive maintenance, testing, and cleaning of the alpHaONE measurement
system.
Preventive Maintenance
Laborie advises that you perform preventive maintenance at least once per year. Preventive maintenance in this
contextmeaningaregularcheckofthecompletealpHaONEsystem.YourLaborieservicedepartmentcandothisfor
youoryoucanaskyourLaborierepresentativeforassitance.Theprocedureisasfollows:

Checkallpartsforvisibledamage

Clean the system as described in the following section
The expected service life and the period of support and service of the product by Laborie is six years after delivery.
For information about all accessories and disposables, refer to their respective user manual or Instructions for Use.
Cleaning Instructions
Laborie advises that cleaning of the entire system be performed on a regular basis. Some parts need more frequent
cleaning to acheive the maximum system hygienic condition. This section provides cleaning instructions for several
system components.

To prevent damage to the alpHaONE measurement system, do not use thinner or similar solvents.
CAUTION
To prevent damaging the electronics, do not use excessive amounts of water for cleaning the alpHaONE
system.
