Monthly
On a monthly basis, clean the following parts with a slightly moisturized cloth:

Exterior of the computer
•
Monitor
•
Printer
•
Keyboard
•
Mouse
Backing Up Patient Data
Topreventdataloss,itisimportanttomakeabackupofyourpatientdataonaregularbasis.Laborierecommends
thatyoustorethedataonanothermedium;forexample,onanetworkdriveorCD-ROMorUSBmemorystick.Youcan
makeabackupusinganyofthefollowingmethods:
•
ArchivethedataofonepatientasanFCUleonaUSBmemorystickoranothermedium.
•
Backupallpatients(onthemenubar,chooseUtilities > Archive all patients, for more information, see the
separate Database manual, in PDF format, which you can access via the Manuals menu in the Database
module).
•
ArchivethedataofagroupofselectedpatientsasFCUlestoyourharddrivebyusingtheQueryfunction.
Thesepatientlescanbesavedtoanothermedium.
•
Copy the complete mmswin directory to another medium. Using this method also preserves any investigation
protocol settings that you have created.
