7-10 TEST AND ADJUSTMENT
• Screwdriver.
Preparation
1. Open the control box.
2. Find the photocell.
3. Find the detection distance adjuster on the photocell.
Adjust
To set the cow detection area (see figure 48 on page 7-10):
1. Turn the detection distance adjuster (4) (see figure 49 on page 7-11)
completely counterclockwise with the screwdriver to the minimum
detection distance (I) (see figure 50 on page 7-11).
2. Put a matt black object at approximately 120 cm (47.2 in) above the
ground.
3. Slowly turn the detection distance adjuster (4) clockwise with the
screwdriver until the detection LED (1) comes on and the stability LED
(3) goes out.
4. Make a mark of the position (A) on the adjuster indicator (II).
5. Remove the object.
6. Slowly turn the detection distance adjuster (4) further clockwise with
the screwdriver until the detection LED (1) comes on again (either the
floor is scanned or the maximum detection distance is reached).
7. Make a mark of the position (B) on the adjuster indicator (III).
8. Turn the detection distance adjuster (4) counter clockwise with the
screwdriver until the adjuster indicator is exactly in the middle of the
positions A and B (IV).
