Menu item 'Set defaults' resets the value of all items in this sub-menu to
the default values.
The menu item 'Time' displays the current time and date. The time and
date are automatically synchronized with the T4C software.
The menu item 'Imperial Units' is used to switch from display of metric
units to imperial units.
In the IR version of the concentrate feeder a photocell is installed to
support the ID-detector. The setting Photocell active is used to switch ON
the photocell (value 0 is OFF, value 1 is ON).
The menu items 'Portion size1', 'Portion size2', 'Portion size3' or 'Portion
size4' are used to set the portion size of each dosing unit. By default the
portion sizes for feed types 1 to 4 are 61, 62, 63 and 64 grams. Menu item
'Portion size5' is not used.
The last portions fed can be less than the set ‘Dose portion’ to feed
exactly the actual balance of a cow.
The menu item 'CalibrateTagsActive' is used to set the calibration tag
functionality for the farmer ON or OFF. The farmer uses calibration tags
to calibrate the feed portion without the E-Link manual controller. The
calibration tags are not used for feeding.
When the calibration tag is used the concentrate feeder doses 10
calibration portions. The farmer weighs the portions to calculate the
average weight and set the portion size.
4.5.2.3 Network Settings
The menu 'Network settings' is used to define basic network settings that
are necessary for correct operation.
