4-18 DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
The menu has the following items:
• Set defaults.
• Dev addr Cosmix.
• Dev addr T4C.
• Dev addr CRS+.
• IP Address.
• ETH address.
The menu 'Set defaults' is used to restore all default network settings.
When the default settings are restored, the network address is also reset.
The correct network address must be set to use the concentrate feeder.
The menu 'Dev addr Cosmix' is used to identify the concentrate feeder in
the T4C network.
The recommended value is 11 for the first concentrate feeder, 12 for the
second, and so on.
Menu item 'Dev addr T4C' sets the identification number of the T4C-
server. The default setting is 001.
Menu item 'Dev addr CRS+' sets the identification number of the CRS+.
The default setting is 151.
Menu item 'IP Address' sets the IP address of the concentrate feeder, as
used in the T4C network.
Menu item 'ETH address' displays the ethernet (MAC) address of the
ADS3830 PCB. This address is fixed and can not be changed.
4.5.2.4 Testing
Menu 'Testing' displays information about the use of the concentrate
feeder, real-time or non-real-time, and enables testing of some functions.
The menu has the following items:
• Time.
• RealTimeInfo.
• Tag id.
• Valves/Blocker.
• IDC Power level.
• FDS Test.
• mbox testing.
The menu item 'Time' displays the internal processor time and date, the
time and date of the T4C network and the elapsed time, in seconds,
starting from the year 2000 (see page 7-5).
The menu item 'RealTimeInfo' displays the tag ID from the identified
cow, the content of the feed bin, the cows credit and the quantity of
food the cow has already eaten.
