12.2 Hydromatic hydraulic overload protection
DANGER
Read and follow the “Safety and protection measures” section,
and the specific safety information “Hazards associated with
hydraulic systems”.
Do not stand within the trip range of the plough bodies while the
plough is operating.
The plough bodies trip upwards in the event of overloading.
Ensure that you maintain an adequate safety distance.
The hydraulic system is permanently under pressure.
If the pressure drops, the plough bodies pivot downwards.
Keep a safe distance away.
If you need to release the pressure in the hydraulic system, al-
ways use the relief valve. During this process the tractor spool
valve must be switched to the float position.
12.2.1 General
The overload safety device does not re-
quire any maintenance.
If the plough body hits an obstacle, it trips
upwards and sideways.
