Once the adjusting valve unit has been
connected to a tractor spool valve, the sys-
tem is ready for operation with the factory-
set maximum and minimum operating
pressure. These operating pressures can
be adjusted to meet individual require-
ments using the rotary knobs (2 and 3).
High operating pressure = high plough
body release force
Low operating pressure = low plough body
release force (gentle release)
To increase the maximum operating pres-
sure:
Turn the rotary knob (2) clockwise.
To reduce the maximum operating pres-
sure:
Turn the rotary knob (2) anticlockwise.
To increase the minimum operating pres-
sure:
Turn the rotary knob (3) clockwise.
To reduce the minimum operating pres-
sure:
Turn the rotary knob (3) anticlockwise.
The tractor spool valve must be switched to the float position dur-
ing ploughing, otherwise overload protection is not guaranteed if
several plough bodies are released at the same time.
