Thestatesofthepower-onLEDareasfollows:

Off:Powerisnotpresentorthepowersupply,ortheLEDitselfhasfailed.

Flashingrapidly(fourtimespersecond):Theserveristurnedoffandisnotreadytobeturnedon.

Thepower-controlbuttonisdisabled.Thiswilllastapproximately20seconds.

Flashingslowly(oncepersecond):Theserveristurnedoffandisreadytobeturnedon.Youcan

pressthepower-controlbuttontoturnontheserver.

Lit:Theserveristurnedon.

•System-locatorbutton/LED:UsethisblueLEDtovisuallylocatetheserveramongotherservers.A

system-locatorLEDisalsoontherearoftheserver.ThisLEDisusedasapresencedetectionbuttonas

well.YoucanuseSystemsDirectororIMMWebinterfacetolightthisLEDremotely.ThisLEDiscontrolled

bytheIMM.Thelocatorbuttonispressedtovisuallylocatetheserveramongtheothersservers.

•ChecklogLED:WhenthisyellowLEDislit,itindicatesthatasystemerrorhasoccurred.Checkthe

eventlogforadditionalinformation.See“Eventlogs”onpage64

formoreinformationabouteventlogs.

•System-errorLED:WhenthisyellowLEDislit,itindicatesthatasystemerrorhasoccurred.A

system-errorLEDisalsoontherearoftheserver.AnLEDontheoperatorinformationpaneloronthe

systemboardisalsolittohelpisolatetheerror.ThisLEDiscontrolledbytheIMM.

LCDoperatingpanelassembly

UsethisinformationforanoverviewoftheLCDoperatingpanelassembly,whichdisplaysvarioustypesof

informationabouttheserver.

TheLCDoperatingpanelassemblyisonthefrontoftheserver.Itenablesyoutohavequickaccessto

systemstatus,ﬁrmware,network,andhealthinformation.Thefollowingillustrationshowsthecontrols

ontheLCDoperatingpanelassembly.
