tothismemoryerror.
2.Ifthenodehasrecentlybeeninstalled,moved,serviced,orupgraded,verifythattheDIMM
isproperlyseatedandvisuallyverifythatthereisnoforeignmaterialinanyDIMMconnector
onthatmemorychannel.Ifeitheroftheseconditionsisfound,correctandretrywiththesame
DIMM.(Note:EventLogmaycontainarecent580A4eventdenotingdetectedchangeinDIMM
populationthatcouldberelatedtothisproblem.)
3.IfnoproblemisobservedontheDIMMconnectorsandtheproblempersists,replacetheDIMM
identifiedbyLightPathand/oreventlogentry.
4.Ifproblemre-occursonthesameDIMMconnector,swaptheotherDIMMsonthesamememory
channelacrosschannelsoneatatimetoadifferentmemorychannelorProcessor.(check
serviceinformationforthisproduct/Installguideforpopulationrequirementsforsparing/paring
modes).IfproblemfollowsamovedDIMMtoadifferentmemorychannel,replacethatDIMM.
5.(Trainedservicetechnicianonly)RemoveaffectedProcessorandinspectProcessorsocketpins
fordamagedormis-alignedpins.Ifdamageisfound,orthisisanupgradeProcessor,replacethe
systemboard.IftherearemultipleProcessor’s,swapProcessor’stomoveaffectedProcessorto
anotherProcessorsocketandretry.IfproblemfollowstheaffectedProcessor(orthereisonly
oneProcessor),replacetheaffectedProcessor.
6.(Trainedtechnicianonly)IfproblemstayswiththeoriginalDIMMconnector,re-inspectDIMM
connectorforforeignmaterialandremove,iffound.Ifconnectorisdamaged,replacesystem
board
