YoucandownloadtheASUfromthewebsite.TodownloadtheASUandupdatetheDMI,completethe
followingsteps.

1.DownloadtheAdvancedSettingsUtility(ASU):
a.Gotohttp://www.lenovo.com/support.
b.ClicktheDownloadstabatthetopofthepanel.
c.UnderToolsCenter,selectViewToolsCenterdownloads.
d.SelectAdvancedSettingsUtility(ASU).
e.ScrolldownandclickthelinkanddownloadtheASUversionforyouroperatingsystem.
2.ASUsetstheDMIintheIntegratedManagementModule(IMM).Selectoneofthefollowingmethodsto
accesstheIntegratedManagementModule(IMM)tosettheDMI:
•Onlinefromthetargetsystem(LANorkeyboardconsolestyle(KCS)access)
•Remoteaccesstothetargetsystem(LANbased)
•BootablemediacontainingASU(LANorKCS,dependinguponthebootablemedia)
Note:Lenovoprovidesamethodforbuildingabootablemedia.Youcancreateabootablemedia
usingtheBootableMediaCreator(BoMC)applicationfromtheToolsCenterWebsite.Inaddition,
theWindowsandLinuxbasedtoolkitsarealsoavailabletobuildabootablemedia.Thesetoolkits
provideanalternatemethodtocreatingaWindowsProfessionalEditionorMasterControlProgram
(MCP)basedbootablemedia,whichwillincludetheASUapplication.
3.CopyandunpacktheASUpackage,whichalsoincludesotherrequiredfiles,totheserver.Makesure
thatyouunpacktheASUandtherequiredfilestothesamedirectory.Inadditiontotheapplication
executable(asuorasu64),thefollowingfilesarerequired:
