Recoveringtheserverfirmware
Usethisinformationtorecovertheserverfirmware.
Important:Someclustersolutionsrequirespecificcodelevelsorcoordinatedcodeupdates.Ifthedevice
ispartofaclustersolution,verifythatthelatestlevelofcodeissupportedfortheclustersolutionbefore
youupdatethecode.
Iftheserverfirmwarehasbecomecorrupted,suchasfromapowerfailureduringanupdate,youcan
recovertheserverfirmwareineitheroftwoways:
•In-bandmethod:Recoverserverfirmware,usingeitherthebootblockjumper(AutomatedBoot
Recovery)andaserverFirmwareUpdatePackageServicePack.
•Out-of-bandmethod:UsetheIMMWebinterfacetoupdatethefirmware,usingthelatestserver
firmwareupdatepackage.
