Step2.Touchthestatic-protectivepackagethatcontainsthehot-swappowersupplytoanyunpainted
metalsurfaceontheserver;then,removethepowersupplyfromthepackageandplaceiton
astatic-protectivesurface.
Step3.Ifyouareinstallingahot-swappowersupplyintoanemptybay,removethepower-supplyfiller
panelfromthepower-supplybay.Meanwhile,ifyouarereplacingafailedhot-swappowersupply,
removeitfromthebay.

Step4.Graspthehandleontherearofthepowersupplyandslidethepowersupplyforwardintothe
power-supplybayuntilitclicks.Makesurethatthepowersupplyconnectsfirmlyintothe
power-supplyconnector.
Step5.Connectthepowercordforthenewpowersupplytothepower-cordconnectoronthepower
supply.
Step6.Routethepowercordthroughthecableretainerclipsothatitdoesnotaccidentallybecome
disconnected.
