7.4.2.7 Fault reaction active
If a minor fault occurs, i. e. the drive is still able
to actuate the motor in a controlled manner,
this device status becomes active and the drive
is brought to a standstill irrespective of the
setpoint specified with the deceleration set for
quick stop (0x6085
or 0x6885 for axis B).
• Only those parameters of the servo
inverter can be changed that do not
require controller inhibit.
• If the internal holding brake control is
active in the i700 servo inverter (0x2820:1
= 0), the motor brake is closed!
• The drive control is working.
Bit pattern for the "Fault reaction active" device status in the Statusword (0x6041 or 0x6841 for axis B):

The "Fault
" device status can only be exited using the "Fault reset" command if the cause
of the fault is eliminated.
