1.7 Lubricating oil for exhaust turbocharger, hydraulic governor and change-over controls
A turbine or hydraulic oil with very good anti-oxidation properties of between 68 and 90 mm

/s (cSt)
at 40 °C should be selected. For highly loaded ABB-turbochargers fully synthetic special oils (see
footnote) are recommended.
When selecting the lubricating oil the regulations of the maker such as ABB, Woodward etc. should
therefore be noted.
