Operating medium: Heavy fuel and distillate fuel
Maintenance:
a) Washing of the compressor every 24 h
b) Wash of the turbine every 300 h
Servicing of the turbocharger is always to be carried out according to the “Maintenance
Specifications and Operating Instructions” enclosed in book C.
Notes for the engine emergency operation with a damaged turbocharger see operating
instructions (section A3.12.01.nn).
The following is a list of the maintenance operations which have to be carried out within
the scope of the work schedule in accordance with the operation instructions in book C
after the specified hours of operation.
