1.4 Open corner valves (Fig.1/4) and stop
valve (3) and set water pressure on
pressure gauge (5) to
1,2 - 1,5 bar
Duration of washing: 5 minutes
Attention:
Check drain valve (Fig. 2/4) and pipe (2)
during the washing process perma-
nently for free passage. Clogging by de-
posits involves the risk that water runs
bakc into the engine through the ex-
haust gas pipe.
In case of clogging pierce the drain val-
ve with a wire.
1.5 Close stop (Fig.1/3) and corner valves
(4) and remove hose clip (1).
1.6 If no further water runs out of the drain
pipe (Fig.2/2), close the drain valve (1).
1.7 Let the exhaust gas turbocharger dry
for about 30 minutes at the specified
engine load, then slowly increase the
engine load.
Note:
In case of previously non-existent vibrations and noises at the exhaust gas turbocharger,
repeat the washing process.
