3.6. Secure and Conscious Operation
• Comply with safety measures specified in this manual, existing accident prevention
measures and any internal procedures as well as operation and safety rules
instructed by the operator.
• Safety measures provided by vehicle manufacturer must also be observed.
• Applicable traffic rules on public roads must be followed.
3.7. Safety Measures and Accident Prevention Arrangements
• In addition to the safety measures in this manual, please observe generic
applicable safety and accident prevention rules.
• Warning and safety signs affixed on machinery provide important information for a
safe operation. Pay attention to those signs for your own safety!
• Pay attention to follow traffic rules on public areas!
• Ensure that you have knowledge of all functions as well as entire assembly before
working with the machine. Attempting to learn them during machine operation will
be too late!
• Operators must wear tight-fitting clothes. Avoid loose and large clothing!
• Leave the machine clean against fire risk!
• Make sure nobody is around the machine before operating or moving the machine
(watch out for children!). Ensure that you have clear visibility!
• Do not climb on the machine and do not place materials on the machine while
running.
• Properly attach any tools to the machine! Attach the tools to specified devices and
protect them!
• Place supporting devices to correct positions when attaching and disconnecting the
tools.
• Be extra careful when connecting or disconnecting tools to/from the tractor.
• Always install counterweights properly and to indicated fixed points.
• Observe allowed axle loads, weed weight and transportation dimensions!
• Install and check lighting, warning devices and transportation accessories such as
protective equipment!
• Starting mechanisms for remote control devices (cables, chains, connections, etc.)
must be arranged in a way to prevent inadvertent activation of any maneuvers
during transportation or operation.
• Ensure that tools are in required condition for road, and contain them at locations
specified by the manufacturer!
• Never leave the driver seat unattended while the vehicle is running!
• Always drive the vehicle at correct speeds for desired driving conditions! Avoid
sudden change of direction while moving on ramps, inclined or curved roads!
• Attached tools or ballast weights influence drive, driving wheel and machine’s
reaction to braking. Make sure that you can use brakes and steering wheel as
required!
• Consider swaying effect for turning radius and/or corners!
• Start the tools only after protective devices are connected and installed in right
places!
• Always keep machine working area clear!
• Stay away from tool rotation and turning area!
