Chapter 6 Cleaning and Sterilization
Warning
Please observe the applicable safety precautions
Please carefully read the material safety data sheet of each cleaning agent.
Please carefully read the operation and maintenance manuals of all disinfection
equipment.
Please wear safety gloves and glasses. If the oxygen sensor is damaged, it may
leak and cause combustion (containing potassium oxychloride).
Do not breathe fumes.
Attention
In order to prevent damage
If you have any questions about the cleaning agent, please refer to the data provided
by the manufacturer.
Do not use organic, halogenated or petroleum-based solvents, anesthetics, glass
cleaners, acetone or other harsh cleaners.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents (such as steel wool, silver polish or cleaning
agents).
Keep all liquids away from electronic parts.
Do not allow liquid to flow into the equipment housing.
Do not soak the synthetic rubber parts for more than 15 minutes. This can cause
swelling or accelerated aging.
Only the parts marked with 134℃ are pressure-resistant and heat-resistant parts.
The pH value of the cleaning solution must be 7.0 to 10.5.
Special Requirements
If want to clean the O
2
Sensor, wipe with a wet cloth. Do not immerse the sensor in a liquid
for cleaning.
Please disassemble the bellows components for cleaning. Otherwise, drying will take a long
time. Hang the bellows upside down (unfold) to dry
Warning
Do not use talc, zinc stearate, calcium carbonate, corn starch or similar materials to prevent
stickiness. These materials may enter the lungs or airways of pet patients, causing irritation or injury.
Attention
Do not immerse the loop oxygen sensor connector in liquid.
Do not place the loop oxygen sensor in heat pressure treatment.
Do not clean the inner surface of the oxygen sensor. Wipe the outer surface with a damp cloth.
Check whether the parts are damaged. Replace if necessary.
