Slot number coding for IOC4T cards
CONFIGURATION OF MPC4 / IOC4T CARDS
9.9.2 VM600 slimline rack (ABE056)
When an IOC4T card is installed in a VM600 slimline rack (ABE056), the micro-switches on
the backplane of the rack must be configured to match the slot number configured for the card
(see 2.1.2.1 Slot number coding for cards in the rear of a VM600 slimline rack).
This allows the IOC4T to be used in a VM600 slimline rack without reconfiguring its slot
number (see 2.1.2.2 Changing the slot number for a VM600 slimline rack)).
