Slot number coding for IOC8T cards
CONFIGURATION OF AMC8 / IOC8T CARDS
NOTE: Pay attention to the polarity of the micro-switches!
Note that “0" corresponds to ON.
10.7.2 VM600 slimline rack (ABE056)
When an IOC8T card is installed in a VM600 slimline rack (ABE056), the micro-switches on
the backplane of the rack must be configured to match the slot number configured for the card
(see 2.1.2.1 Slot number coding for cards in the rear of a VM600 slimline rack).
This allows the IOC8T to be used in a VM600 slimline rack without reconfiguring its slot
number (see 2.1.2.2 Changing the slot number for a VM600 slimline rack)).
