13.4.2 RS-485 terminations for A and B serial communications –
PNR 200-595-510-110 or equivalent
For the PNR 200-595-510-110 or equivalent serial communications module, jumpers on the
serial communications module are used to configure RS-485 terminations.
Each RS-485 differential pair can be terminated in one of six different ways, as shown in
Figure 13-12.
For half-duplex RS-485 (2-wire), only jumpers J31_A to J34_A need to be configured.
For full-duplex RS-485 (4-wire), jumper groups J31_A to J34_A and J31_B to J34_B must be
configured identically.
