6. Remove the mounts at the transmission.
7. Remove the transmission assembly.
8. Remove the fasteners (for example, lag bolts) that hold the front mounts to the engine bed. Retain the fasteners and
hardware.

9. Removal of water‑cooled shaft log seal connection for TowSport and inboard models.
10. Carefully remove the engine. Do not damage the power‑assisted steering control valve.
