Approximately 40 capsules
Drip tray
800 milliliters (0.2 gallons)
Table 040-1: Container Capacities
2 Function
2.1 Water Tank
The water tank has a capacity of 0.4 gallons (1.5 liters). When the water
level drops below 0.13 gallons (500 milliliters), the magnet in the float
activates the water tank level switch; see Section 010-2.3 for further
information.
2.2 Waste Container
The waste container has a 40-capsule capacity. After 20 capsules (or if a
capsule permanently interrupts the light barrier of the sensor path), Please
empty waste container and then replace it is displayed; see Section 010-2.5
for further information.
2.3 Drip Tray
The drip tray has a capacity of 0.2 gallons (800 milliliters). When 0.1 gallons
(400 milliliters) of residual water is in the drip tray, two contacts in the drip
tray touch the water. The power electronic then detects a level of conductivity
via the drip tray level contact and registers that the drip tray is full; see
Section 010-2.4 for further information.
3 Fault Repair
3.1 Milk Froth Unsatisfactory
Cause:
Steam flow not constant.
Remedy:
1. Check the steam flow. During the first 5 seconds, the steam flow is not
constant (with interruptions).
2. If the steam flow does not stabilize, check the steam system for leaks. A
slight (also audible) variation in the steam flow is normal.
3. Replace any leaking connections.
Cause:
Cappuccinatore lid not properly assembled.
Remedy:
Assemble the cappuccinatore lid correctly; see Section 040-4.1.
