8. Disconnect the electrical connections from the brew unit.
9. Remove the brew unit.

4.2 Brew Unit Motor Removal
1. Remove the appliance for service; see Section 010-4.1.
2. Remove the left and right side panels.
3. Remove the rear panel.
4. Remove the top casing (Section 010-4.5).
5. Remove the retaining clip (Figure 050-4, Item 1).
6. Pull off the encoder (Figure 050-4, Item 2).
7. Remove the brew unit motor retaining screws (Figure 050-4, Item 3).
8. Remove the brew unit motor.
