Cause:
The spring pressure of the corresponding contacts in the appliance is
insufficient.
Remedy:
Refer to Section 060-3.24 for more information.
3.26 “Warming Up - Please Wait” is Displayed, Even Though Appliance
is Ready for Operation
Cause:
The steam system is switched off.
If the steam system is switched off, the steam heater cools down. If heating with
steam is then selected, the message Warming up - Please wait is displayed.
Remedy:
Switch on the steam system; see Section 060-4.1.2.
3.27 “Please Close the Door” is Displayed (Door is Closed)
Cause:
The magnet for the door switch is missing.
See also Section 010-2.2.
Note:
When removing the display/control electronic, ensure that the magnet in the
door does not fall out or cling to the screwdriver.
Remedy:
Install the magnet for the door switch.
3.28 Descaling Cannot Be Reset in Service Mode
Cause:
In order to reset the descaling timer, the following conditions must be
satisfied:
The left display shows DESCALE.
The right display shows Confirm to start.
Press the right switch knob.
The right display shows Please empty drip tray.
Remove the drip tray for more than 3 seconds, then replace it.
The right display shows Please add descaling agent to the water container.
Remove the water tank for more than 3 seconds, then replace it.
The right display shows Please use the waste container.
Press and hold the left switch knob until the appliance is switched off.
Remedy:
Ensure that these conditions are complied with. Carry out a descaling reset
via service programming mode; see Section 060-4.4.
Note:
To ensure that the display/control electronic registers the reset, do not switch
the appliance off with the left switch knob but switch it off directly with the
power switch. Wait approximately 5 seconds, then switch it on again.
