Figure 060-2: Ceramic Valve Hose Connections
Cause:
Software fault. The threshold for registering sufficient pulses from the flow
meter has been programmed too narrowly in the software or has been too
narrowly registered. The fault occurs when preparing coffee/espresso using
stronger coffee types (such as Ristretto or Arpeggio), and particularly with
double servings.
The following models are affected:
Models from machine nos. 81386018 to 81387081
Models with power electronic mat. no. 6216474
Models with special electronics from GTZ/MHI
Remedy:
Install a new power electronic, mat. no. 6216475.
3.8 Fault Code F17
Cause:
Insufficient water intake. Water tank installed incorrectly.
Remedy:
Ensure that the water tank is installed correctly
Check hoses and connections
Check water tank valve
Check flow meter
Check coffee/hot-water pump (2M7)
Check that the Teflon hose connections at the ceramic valve are
connected at their correct positions (see Figure 060-2)
