CVA 265x & CVA 266x
Cause:
The groove in which the slide moves (Figure 060-3, Item 3) is soiled with coffee
residue (e.g., after a capsule has exploded) and the slide (Figure 060-3, Item 2)
is stuck. The capsule transport arm (Figure 060-3, Item 1) can also get stuck.
Series modification (CVA 2650/2660 only):
Since machine no. 16/65408179, a different power electronic with modified
rinse method has been used.
Since machine no. 60/65417375, the capsule transport arm has been
shortened by 0.07 inches (1.7 millimeters) and fitted with a 55° bezel (see
Figure 060-4).
The capsule plate and capsule magazine slide have been improved.

Remedy:
1. Thoroughly clean the groove (Figure 060-3, Item 3) and the slide (Figure
060-3, Item 2).
Warning!
Do not apply grease to the groove or the slide!
Using grease will eventually create a large buildup of oil and dirt which will
cause the transport mechanism to jam.
2. Lubricate the capsule transport arm with HTS 600 grease, as shown in
Figure 060-5, Item 1.
