4. The groove in which the slide runs is soiled with coffee residues.
5. The capsule plate is defective.
a. The retaining lugs on the capsule plate collar on the hinged ramp are
damaged or missing.
b. The capsule support ring under the capsule plate collar on the hinged
ramp has worked loose.
Series modification (CVA 2650/2660 only):
Since machine no. 10/65379376, a modified capsule magazine has been
installed as standard.
Since machine no. 14/65391607, the capsule transport slide has been
shortened by 0.04 inches (1 millimeter) and is now white. The capsule
plate now has a small cutout.
Since machine no. 14/65396982, the extended silicone hose has also
been included as standard.

Remedy:
Clean and check transport components
Check capsule transport motor
Check capsule transport switch
Note:
Refer to Figure 060-3. If the capsule magazine drawer cannot be removed from the
appliance, slightly lift the capsule magazine drawer and, using a small flathead
screwdriver, lift the capsule transport lever (Item 1). This action lifts the capsule transport
slide (Item 2) out of the groove (Item 3), so that the capsule magazine drawer can be
pulled out.
