- The key (press and hold) must be assigned the function "Set preload" (menu
item 1.9.8) (see Chapter 6.3.1.1 menu item 1.9).
Note:
After deleting the preload, reassign the key (press and hold) to its original function
(e.g.external calibration/adjustment with user-dened weights) under menu item 1.9
and close the locking switch again.
5.5.10 Delete preload
Setup information
- Deleting a preload is only possible when the locking switch is open.
- The key (press and hold) must be assigned the function "Delete preload" (menu
item 1.9.9).
Note:
After deleting a preload, reassign the key (press and hold) to its original function

and close the locking switch.
5.5.11 Calibration without weight
In the service mode, calibration can be performed without weight by entering the
characteristics of the load cells (e.g. silo weighing with known load cell characteristics).
NOTICE
Calibration in legal metrology
Calibration without weight must not be performed on scales used in legal metrology.
Calibration with weights only.
Setup information
- Calibration without weight is only possible when the locking switch is open in the
service menu.
- The parameters required for calibration without weight are entered when the service
mode is activated in the [SETUP] menu under [WP-1]- [INTERN]. The settings are
applied in the corresponding number menu under the menu item 1.19.
- The parameter 1.19.1 "Maximum capacity" must be entered in the unit , as set under
1.7.x.
- The parameter 1.19.3…1.19.6 "Sensitivity" is entered in mV/V (take the value from the
data sheet, for example).
