As mentioned above, the modular head is a 6-spindle type suitable for
positioning chip type components and small leaded components
The placing speed is high as each Z axis is controlled by a separate AC
servo motor.
In addition, as the modular head spindle is equipped with a belt-driven AC
servo motor, it provides a resolution of 0.044° for R-axis (or θ -axis).
The modular head can pick up and transfer various types and sizes of
components as it can be equipped with various types of nozzles.
<Figure 4-11> shows the structure of a 6-spindle modular head.
