8. Stylus switch
There are 3 stylus switches. When the switch is pressed, the LED will be turned on or off.
The current stylus status can be recognized by LED lighting.
• Up switch
Fixes the stylus at the top position. (stylus in hold state)
• Hold switch
Fixes the stylus at the position specified through the analysis software.
(stylus in hold state)
Default: 0 mm
• Down switch
Cancels the stylus fixation. (stylus in free state)
If origin setup is not completed, all the LEDs of the stylus switches will be blinking.
• If the stop switch or the like is pressed during operation while the stylus status is not
determined, all the LEDs will be turned off. Press the up switch or down switch to
determine the stylus status.
• When origin setup is not completed, the hold switch does not function.
• Do not depress the stylus by the hand when it is in hold state.
