TheLeadedgesensorassemblyispositionedjustaftertheinputrollersandishousedina
blackdelrinmachinedblock.Tochecktheoperationofthissensor,insertapieceofpaper
betweentherollersandfeedbyhanduntilthesensoriscovered,atwhichpointtheRed
LED3willilluminateonthemaincontrolPCB.
Replacement.
1.Openthelaysideandoperatorsidedoors.
2.Removethetopinfeedroller.
3.Unscrewthetwocapheadallenscrewsandliftthesensorhousingout.
4Replacethesensorwithanewunitandretightenthescrews.
Reassemblyisthereverseprocedure.
Thecrunchsensorisabeamprojectedacrossthemachinejustinfrontofthebladeand
abovethepaperpath,whenthebeamisbrokenthemachinewillstop.
Thereceiverishousedinthesideplateofthemachineandisontheoperatorside,while
thetransmitterishousedsimilarlybutontheoppositeside.
