1. Is suction fan operate normally through "Test6: Fan" of self-
diagnosis function?
• Check the connection of following MAIN
board Assy connectors.
• Suction fan relay Assy : J27
• Replace suction fan Assy .
• Replace cable of suction fan that does not
operate normally.

2. Is shielding material secured at specified position?
Remount it at the specified position.

3. When pressure lever is moved backward and forward, does
pressure Assy move smoothly in synchronization with it?
Lubricate pressure cam.

4. Does pressure roller drag when pressure lever is raised?
If pressure roller collects media dust on itself,
wipe dust away using a wet soft cloth.

5. Does media guide have large distortion or foreign objects?
• If media guide collects media dust or other
foreign objects on it, remove them.
• Replace media guide.
